The Songwriters circle is a more intimate group of musicians who perform for each other.  You can get tips, ideas, and feedback from the others, gain confidence in performing, or just enjoy the time together!  You can perform originals or covers of any genre!  Songwriters meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm, and we ask for a $5 donation per person.

Every Thursday night at Bill's is for dancing!  Modern Shag dancing combines our state dance, the Shag, with more modern music!  At 8:30pm, the night starts with a 30-minute Shag lesson, and that's followed by open dancing until 11pm - for only a $5 donation!   Our Shag dancers dress up for the occasional theme night or holiday, so keep an eye on the schedule!

The Electric Jam meets twice a month, the 2nd and 4th Fridays, from 10:30am until 12:30pm.   All electric instruments are welcome.  Acoustic instruments and singers are welcome, too!  A $5 donation is requested to participate.

Every Friday night since 1985, Bill's is the place to be for bluegrass pickers.  Our doors open at 6pm.  Sign up to perform on our open stage starting at 7pm.  Featured bands perform from 8-9pm.  Jammin' goes until midnight!  We have a snack bar that's open with chips, candy bars, hot dogs, popcorn, sodas, water, coffee, tea, and more.  The first Friday of each month is a "First Friday Fixin's" potluck where we provide some delicious food and you're welcome to bring a dish or dessert to share.   Everyone is welcome to join in a jam - all skill levels and all bluegrass instruments.  If you're new, observe and get the feel of it.  If you're able, lead a song or take an instrumental break.  If you're not musical, just enjoy the music!  Join us on a Friday night and bring the whole family.  Admission on most Fridays is an $8 donation, and kids 8 and under are free.  If there's a featured band, admission is a $10 donation or is otherwise noted.

We dance every Saturday night!  The evening starts with a dance lesson at 6pm.  You'll enjoy a line dance lesson or a partner dance lesson that lasts 30 minutes to an hour.   Our DJ takes over the music from 7-10pm, and occasionally we have a live band perform.  For special occasions we celebrate with a potluck dinner and theme night.  Keep an eye on the calendar for special nights.  The snack bar is open, and we have tables and chairs around our large hardwood dance floor.  Admission for Saturday nights is a $10 donation.

We have several fantastic line dance teachers at Bill's!   They teach line dancing every Saturday night from 6 to 6:30 or7pm, and multiple times throughout the year we have line dance lesson sessions!  These sessions last 4-weeks on Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm.  Each line dance lesson night is a $10 donation.  Saturday night's admission gets you in for the 7-10pm dancing, as well.   We occasionally have a special line dance workshop or a dance teacher workshop, so keep an eye on the calendar!

The Slow Jam is a once per month session that is geared toward newer musicians.   The group gets you playing and singing, taking instrumental breaks, learning new things, and performing in small groups on stage.  This is a no-pressure session that's all about fun!  Slow Jam is usually the 2nd Saturday of each month, but dates do vary so please check the calendar.  Please be tuned up and ready to play at 1pm, and the session ends at 3:30.  We ask for a $15 donation to participate.  We welcome non-participating class auditors at $5 per person.
